Your tasks

• • Responsibility for the coordination and chartering of dry cargo vessels, independent negotiation of freight rates.
  • Representing the company as a competent contact person in day-to-day business for our customers, business partners and suppliers from various economic sectors.
  • Independent preparation of quotations for our transport services, recording of orders in our own IT system, creation of documents and invoicing of transport services rendered.
  • Maintaining a network of customers, business partners, ship owners and ship captains

Prerequisites

• • Successfully completed commercial or logistics training, ideally with a focus on freight forwarding or shipping.
  • Experience in scheduling is desirable, but career changers and those new to the field are also very welcome.
  • Organizational talent, strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork, "out-of-the-box" thinking
  • Service-oriented work ethic and flexibility in dealing with spontaneous changes in daily business
  • A sense of responsibility as well as a reliable, structured and meticulous work ethic.
  • Confident use of common office applications
  • Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage; good written and spoken English skills are desirable, but not a mandatory requirement.
