Your tasks

• Air freight task:

  • You are responsible for handling air freight export and air freight import shipments.
  • This includes the complete processing from order acceptance to invoicing, including the creation of all associated documents.
  • You prepare offers for customers and international partners.
  • You will be in direct contact with our customers, agents and service providers throughout the entire logistics process.
  • They organize pick-ups to and bookings from almost all German airports.
  • Different shipment types (direct shipments, consolidations, oversize shipments, charters, letter of credit shipments, etc.) and a mix of German customers and international agents constantly present new challenges and make your work varied.

Prerequisites

• 
  

  • You have completed training as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services or have a comparable qualification.
  • Ideally, you have several years of professional experience and extensive expertise in the field of air freight.
  • You have fluent German and good English skills.
  • You are proficient in MS Office (especially Outlook and Teams) and ideally familiar with online booking platforms.
  • You enjoy working in a team and are a strong communicator.
  • A strong understanding of numbers, a conscientious and reliable working style as well as economic thinking and action round off your profile.
